@victoria_woolly_web I think the 2024 Glossybox Advent Calendar is the best advent calendar I’ve unboxed (so far). It’s super affordable, while being worth almost seven times as much. It’s full of products that I actually use – the Aveeno Oil and the Blursh Drip Drip – and there were quite a few boxes where I opened them and was like “oh wow, cool”. Most notably that glittery Oulac lipstick There’s also a lot of full-size products (17 to be precise) and even those which aren’t full size, they’re big enough to get more than one use out of! I do have a few more calendars to arrive and unbox (namely Sephora, Space NK and Harvey Nics) but this is definitely a top contender The full list of contents is: * Avant Hyaluronic-Filler Collagen eye Formula – Worth £99 * Aveeno Skin Relief Body Oil – Worth £9.49 * Bare Minerals Prime Time Primer – Worth £18 * Beauty Pro Warming Eye Mask – Worth £3 * Beauty Works Argan Oil – Worth £5.99 * Bondi Sands Everyday Gradual Tanning Milk – Worth £7.99 * Ciate Velvet Lip Liner (Coco) – Worth £18 * E.L.F Brow Lift Applicator – Worth £4 * E.L.F Brow Lift Clear Wax – Worth £6 * GLOV Satin Sleep Mask (Gold) – Worth £21.37 * Glow Hub Buff Blush (Pinched) – Worth £12 * Grumm Calming Facial Mist – Worth £16 * Iconic London Thriving & Shining Eyeshadow Palette – Worth £45 * Kate Somerville Goat Milk Moisturising Cleanser – Worth £10 * L’Occitane Shea Butter Hand Lotion – Worth £9 * Made By Mitchell Drip Drip – Worth £16 * Medik8 Hyrda8 B5 Serum – Worth £45 * Mitchell & Peach English Leaf Candle – Worth £18 * Mitchell & Peach English Leaf Scented Candle * Molton Brown Indian Cress Conditioner – Worth £5 * Molton Brown Indian Cress Shampoo – Worth £5 * Oulac Infinity Shine Moisture Shine Lipstick – Worth £8 * Pixi Lip Glow (Fleur) – Worth £14 * Probiotics Doctors Formula Deep Hydration & Repairing Mask – Worth £89 * Rituals The Ritual of Ayurveda Body Lotion – Worth £8.90 * Rituals The Ritual of Ayurveda Hair & Body Mist – Worth £7 * Sentier Persian Embrace Fragrance – Worth £31.82 * So Eco Wrist Wash Bands – Worth £5.99 * Spectrum 3 Piece Brush Set – Worth £25 * Sweed Lash Lift Mascara – Worth £22 #AdventCalendar2024 #Glossyboxadventcalendar #Glossyboxadventcalendar2024 #BeautyAdventCalendar ##MakeupAdventCalendar#SkincareAdventCalendar #AdventCalendarBeauty #AdventCalendarIdeas #UnboxingVideos #UnboxingAdvent ♬ original sound – Victoria Woollaston-
There are 29 products behind 25 doors and that it includes haircare, skincare and makeup.
Last year we did a daily unboxing of a number of advent calendars and this year we’ve taken things up a notch. Ahead of the festive season, we’re unboxing some of the biggest advent calendars of the season so we can reveal which are worth the money, and which are worth avoiding.

We’ve bought the Glossybox advent calendar for the past three years and despite having tried a lot of calendars over the years, it remains one of the original and best. Not least because it’s so affordable (relatively speaking).
Its price sits around £90, on average, yet for that, you get products that are worth up to three times as much.
Not just that, but the brands are all well-known, makeup, skincare and haircare giants such as Glossier, L’Occitane, MILK Makeup, Laneige, Color WOW, and more.
Often cheap advent calendars are full of indie brands. We’ve discovered some amazing indie brands from advent calendars so this isn’t a criticism, but it shows just how much the Glossybox advent calendar is worth it.
A large number of the products are full-sized too – 17 in 2024 – and it’s not just products but tools and accessories too, like wrist bands and an silk eye mask.
If we had to choose our favourite advent calendar, it would be a tough decision between the Glossybox calendar and the SpaceNK version but Glossybox would just take the title.
To guarantee purchase, we also recommend signing up for the Glossybox beauty box. A lot of the products inside each month’s box are full-sized and in addition to huge brands like Elemis and Avant, Glossybox also champions smaller businesses and indie beauty brands.
A 12-month subscription costs £11.50 a month, or you can buy it on a rolling contract for £13.50 a month. The boxes are regularly worth £50+ so this is a significant saving.
