Lush was one of the first brands to release an advent calendar in 2023 and it’s followed suit with the launch of the 2024 Lush advent calendars. Plural.
Just like last year, the brand is releasing not one, but two calendars for this year. Plus a calendar refill.
The first, and most expensive advent calendar is simply called the 2024 Lush advent calendar and contains 25 products, some of which are exclusive to the calendar, and others that are retro products that are making a comeback. This includes a mix of bath bombs, perfumes, shower gels, scrubs, and more.
The second is the 29 High Street advent calendar. This 25-day calendar only contains bath bombs and bubble bars but costs £130.
Not only are all of its products sustainable, ethically sourced, vegan, and cruelty-free, but the packaging they come in is too.

The main Lush Advent Calendar costs £190 and is designed by Wirral-based artist Tess Gilmartin. It contains 25 items, including eight retro products and two exclusive gifts. The contents include a mix of bath bombs, bubble bars, body lotions, and more, such as the Dreaming Of A White Christmas Bath Bomb, Snow Fairy Lip Jelly Mask, and Magic Of Christmas Fragrance.
The cheaper 29 High Street Advent Calendar costs £130 and contains bath bombs and bubble bars, complete with cardboard cutouts. It also includes two retro products and a surprise exclusive item.
Finally, the £180 Advent Calendar Refill is an online exclusive, limited to 1,000 units worldwide, and is great for anyone who bought last year’s Lush calendar. It includes items such as the Snow Fairy Perfume, Magic Bath Bomb, and Honey I Washed Kids Candle.

Obviously, if you’re a big Lush fan – or you just love bath bombs tbf – you’ll get a lot of value out of the Lush advent calendar.
We love that there is a wide selection of scents and product types, and the fact they’re all festive-themed. There’s enough in the main calendar to use two products a month before you run out, although bathing in Christmas fragrances in the height of summer might seem a bit odd.
What’s also great about the Lush Advent Calendar 2024 is that it contains a number of exclusive products that you’ll only be able to find in this calendar. There is also a handful of retro Lush products. These were previously discontinued so if you’ve been missing them, this is the only way to get them.
In our personal experience, the Lush advent calendar makes a great (albeit expensive) gift too.
All that said, £190 is a lot of money to spend. Especially when a large number of the items inside can only be used once! Even £130 for the 29 High Street calendar may be out of many people’s budgets.
You may get more value from a calendar like the Soap & Glory Advent Calendar if you’re after bath and body treats on a budget.
