Despite December being months away, Cult Beauty has officially released its 2024 Cult Beauty Advent Calendar.
Not content with the standard 24 or 25-day beauty advent calendars released by its rivals, Cult Beauty regularly goes a step further.
Last year, its festive edit contained 39 hair, makeup, skincare, and lifestyle goodies. This year, the 2024 Cult Beauty Calendar contents contain 40 products – 19 of which are full-sized.
What’s more, you can buy it with either more makeup and skincare, or more fragrances as the brand is releasing two versions.

Cult Beauty Anything else? Cult Beauty is launching two editions of its advent calendar – Curated with Love and Scent with Love. The Curated version is the standard version. If you opt for the Scent with Love version, however, some of the standard products will be replaced with fragrances. This year’s Cult Beauty advent calendar has been designed in partnership with artist and stylist Sophie Iona.

There are two versions of the 2024 Cult Beauty Advent Calendar so we’ve listed them separately below, although the majority of contents are identical across the two. We’ve ordered the Curated with Love box.

Sol De Janiero The Curated with Love calendar contains the Kate Somerville ExfoliKate Intensive Treatment, and Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Cream. The Scent with Love calendar does not.
The Scent with Love calendar contains the following products, which aren’t found in the Curated with Love calendar.
Your choice will ultimately be based on whether you want fewer, larger products and more skincare, or you want more fragrances in smaller packaging.
Last year Cult Beauty partnered with two charities for its calendar launch. The first was Mental Health UK, the only UK-wide mental health charity that delivers both national and local services that “empower people to manage their mental health in a person-centred and empathetic way.” Cult Beauty donated more than £75,000 from the sales of its advent calendar to this worthy cause.
The second was more:trees. More:trees planted a tree for every advent calendar sold, helping to restore forests which will help with the sequestering of future CO2 emissions. We’ll update this page once we know more about the 2024 charity partners.
This year it’s supporting the Respect Project. The website says: “The RESPECT Project provides online and in-person cultural programming rooted in respect, honesty and celebration of diverse opinions and experiences.”
It connects with thought-leaders, artists and other groups across industries committed to “leaving the world better than the way they found it.”
Cult Beauty Whether or not the Cult Beauty advent calendar is worth it depends really on your budget. We can’t fault it for anything else.
At £235, there’s no denying that the Cult Beauty advent calendar is a major investment. Yet for that price, you get products worth four times as much – many of which are full-sized – meaning that it’s incredible value for money.
In fact, it was one of the best-value advent calendars on sale last year. Another thing going in Cult Beauty’s favour is the massive range of products and brands that it works with.
Every year we discover a host of new brands through the Cult Beauty advent calendar, or we get refills of some of our favourites. What’s more, it’s not just makeup and skincare. The Cult Beauty advent calendar contains beauty tools, accessories, candles, and more. This is especially the case this year, with the release of the Scent with Love version.
Last year, the Cult Beauty advent calendar was up there as the best advent calendar we bought, alongside SpaceNK and this year has followed suit.

It costs £48 but is worth £97 and includes mainly makeup, but there are some tools (a powder puff, a beauty blender and a brush) and a lip mask. Last year, the advent calendar makeup cost the same but included a full-size Reloaded palette while this year, it’s only a mini and this feels a little disappointing. However, that’s probably being a bit harsh because it’s super affordable and, as a result, I’ve added it to my best cheap advent calendar guide.
