Beauty advent calendars have become a hugely popular trend and are a fantastic way to get makeup and skincare from your favourite brands – or discover new products – at a discounted price.
Most major makeup brands now sell beauty advent calendars, including the likes of makeup retailers Glossybox, LookFantastic, Boots and Cult Beauty to name a few and despite the fact the products included don’t have a shelf life as such, the best advent calendars are usually on offer in the January sales and well into the New Year. As are Christmas gift sets.
These early discounts are good, but if you can hang on a little until later into the year and you don’t mind taking the risk that your favourite will sell out, you can save hundreds on grabbing the remaining stock.
Below we’ve listed the best beauty advent calendar and Christmas gift set deals that are still on sale and that we’ve spotted online.
It goes without saying that there is likely limited stock of many of these calendars and gift sets so if you see one you like, don’t hang about. Prices are also subject to change and are correct at the time of writing.
Revolution is one of our favourite cheap makeup brands and its 2019 Advent Calendar contains a host of its best-selling makeup, as well as tools including mini makeup brushes and a mirror. There’s also one of the brand’s latest, exclusive reloaded palettes.
The Revolution Advent Calendar contains:
W7 makeup is remarkably high-quality for products that are so cheap. They don’t have the staying power of more expensive brands but the collection is impressive and the finish is decent. Last year, W7 was selling a beauty advent calendar with 24 of its best-selling items for £19.95 – which is already cheap in itself – but as it tries to shift stock, this price has dropped to just £10.99.
There are enough products, and enough of a range of products, to create an entire makeup collection; have a “spare” collection for travelling; or to give to a makeup beginner.
The Beauty Blast contains:
A slightly different take on the beauty advent calendar scene, this OPI calendar features 25 mini nail lacquers inspired by Hello Kitty. To get the best, long-lasting look, apply an. OPI Base Coat to clean, dry nails. Apply two coats of ‘Infinite Shine’ and finish with a coat of OPI Top Coat.
The colours included are:
The L’Occitane Classic Beauty Advent Calendar contains 25 of the skincare brand’s best-selling products from shower gels, shampoos, soaps and eau de toilette. If you bought all of these mini products separately, they’d cost you £79 but are available for £30 cheaper when bought as part of this advent calendar.
The L’Occitane Classic Beauty Advent Calendar includes:
You can still pick up the Cath Kidston Beauty Advent Calendar from 2019 from Amazon, albeit not at a huge discount. Decorated with Cath Kidston designs and tied with a bow, the advent calendar contains 24 bath and body treats. These include:
The following advent calendars aren’t reduced but are still in stock if you wanted to add to your makeup or skincare collection by saving money on multiple products.
All the products in this collection, if bought separately, would set you back £190.
You don’t get a saving on the RRP of this beauty advent calendar from Debenhams – it was on sale for £90 before Christmas before briefly dropping to £81 and back to £90 – but given the vast amount of products on offer, from some big names including MAC, NARS, Clinique, Philip Kingsley, Clarins and more, this calendar was already good value at £90 so even £9 off shouldn’t be sniffed at.
The Debenhams Beauty Advent Calendar contains:
