I was hoping for the Glow Recipe toner but alas, it was not meant to be! This advent calendar has sold out, sadly, so you can’t buy it directly from Glow Recipe but I have seen it for sale on eBay (albeit for MUCH more than what it was on sale for…!) Glow Recipe So, you’re eyeing up the Glow Recipe Advent Calendar and wondering if it’s worth it?
For $75 – £61 – you get a mix of full- and travel-size Glow Recipe favourites worth $95.
This includes the Watermelon Glow AHA Night Treatment that’s pretty much a sleepover for your face, to cute pink hair clips.
This isn’t the greatest discount but if you’re a Glow Recipe fan, you may well be tempted.
The downside is that this discount will likely be eaten up by the time you’ve paid fees and customs to have it shipped over from the US.
When we bought the calendar we paid $90 (£76), and that was with a 10% off code.
The breakdown was as follows:
If we didn’t have the 10% off code, this would have been at least $98.46 although realistically the fees may have been higher if the overall cost was higher so it might have even tipped over the $100 mark.
That said, even at that higher price, this still means you can get hold of 10 Glow Recipe products for £80.
So, is it worth it?
If you’re into Glow Recipe and live in the US, this calendar’s a pretty decent deal. If you’re in the UK and you’re a big Glow Recipe fan, we still think it’s worth the investment. If you’re in the UK and only have a passing interest in Glow Recipe, this calendar won’t be great value for you.
