Looking for free skincare and makeup? We need product testers to help build out our review content as part of the mamabella Reader Review Panel. Join us

One of the privileges of running a beauty website is that we often get gifted beauty products to sample. We’re incredibly lucky to get skincare and makeup for free but we’re a small group and there are only so many products we can test.

What’s more, it’s hard to know how different products work on different skin types, and different ages when we have a limited range to choose from.

With this in mind, we’re launching the mamabella Reader Review panel!

As part of this panel, we want to regift some of the products we’ve got by sending them to our readers to review. We’ve detailed what being on the panel means and what would be expected below, and if you’re interested in taking part then please fill in our survey.

If you’re keen to give us your thoughts on different skincare products, the process is as follows:

Once you have completed the Reader Review Panel survey, we will contact you with details of your first products
You will have a week to agree that you are happy with the product – you can also decline any product at any time – before it is offered to another member of the panel
We will cover the cost of shipping you the product and all products will need to be signed for
Please use the product as per the instructions for a minimum of two weeks but ideally four. If you, at any point, get a reaction or irritation then please cease using
After four weeks, we will send you a short survey to complete to find out what you thought of the product. This will ask you questions about the consistency, the smell, how it felt on the skin, and your overall impression
These answers can be in bullet point form or prose
The products are then yours to keep!
Photos: If you can, please take photos of the product in your hand, or bathroom/dressing room (in landscape mode). If you’re comfortable, please also photograph a before and after photo of your face. This is not essential, however, and if you don’t want to take photos then let us know before we send the product just so we can make a note and take photos before it’s shipped
