As the run up to Christmas is well and truly on, following the almost constant release of beauty advent calendars, GHD is getting us in a festive mood with the release of a stunning new Wish Upon A Star range.
Designed to add a little sheen and sparkle to your dressing table, the Wish Upon A Star range features a limited edition version of the GHD Helios, the GHD Platinum Plus and the GHD Gold.
Each model comes in an iridescent white colour which changes and shines from gold to pink as it moves in the light. There are then gold accents throughout the rest of the design.
As GHD explains: “Gift your loved ones, or yourself, with a limited edition the colour of stardust. The festive season is the perfect time for a sparkling new style of bouncy curls, dreamy waves or a flawless straight, so style yourself a glamorous Holiday look.”
In addition to the pearlescent hair stylers, each comes with a gorgeous, dark blue vanity case or (in the case of the hair dryer), a soft cover. Due to the addition of this case, you do need to spend an extra tenner on each styler.

In addition to the Wish Upon A Star Christmas range, GHD has also released a series of black gift sets that come with the same star detailing as the limited-edition collection.
Whereas the Wish Upon A Star range is more expensive, though, the black gift sets offers savings compared to if you were to buy the stylers separately.
For example, you can get the GHD Platinum Plus, a carry case and a GHD paddle brush for £189.
If bought separately, these products would set you back £210. In fact, this whole gift set costs the same as buying the Platinum Plus on its own.
Similarly, a GHD Gold, case and paddle brush gift set is £149 (worth more than £170), the GHD Glide hot brush gift set is £139 and the GHD Curve Creative Wand gift set is £129 (worth £150).
You can also get the GHD Flight travel hair dryer gift set for £59.
These gift sets, and the Wish Upon A Star range follow the launch of the GHD pastel pink collection in July.
You can read more about this launch in our guide to the GHD Upbeat collection but in summary, the Pink Collection was launched in partnership with Breast Cancer Now charity.
All three models additionally have the words “Take Control Now” printed on the side, as a nod to the breast cancer awareness charity and to encourage people to check their boobs.
And as part of this collaboration, GHD is donating £10 from the sale of every pink GHD Platinum Plus, pink Helios and pink Gold styler, to breast cancer charities across the globe.
