Boots is on a roll recently – having brought the likes of TooFaced, Fenty Beauty, Huda Beauty and most recently Laura Mercier to the UK high street – it’s now launched NARS online.
Founded in 1994 by French makeup artist and photographer, François Nars, NARS Cosmetics is renowned for highly pigmented, well-formulated products with bold names – such as its Climax mascara, Orgasm lipsticks and Hot Nights palettes.

The brand isn’t cheap – averaging at around £25 per product – but we do love the NARS brand. It’s one our of premium go-tos, here at mamabella.
Its range features on a number of our Best Buys lists, from the best setting powder for its Light Reflecting Loose powder, to its Pure Radiant cream, which makes our best tinted moisturiser list.
To celebrate the launch, the retailer is giving away a free Nars Explicit Dragon Girl Lip Duo if you spend £45 on the brand (while stocks last), and – of course – you can get Advantage Card points for each purchase. You can read more about the benefits of the Advantage Card in our Boots sale roundup.
NARS Cosmetics joins the 40+ brands that Boots has launched into stores and online over the last 18 months as part of its plans to reinvent beauty on the high street.
“Following the hugely popular launch of Laura Mercier, we’re really excited to welcome NARS to our ever-growing beauty offering on Boots.com,” said Joanna Rogers, commercial director and VP of beauty and gifting at Boots UK. “Celebrated for their inclusive and boundary-breaking approach to makeup as well as bold, long-lasting pigments, we’re so pleased to be making another legendary brand accessible to all of our beauty-loving customers.”

Why we love it: NARS foundation appears in both our best foundation and best foundation for dark skin tones lists and, while it’s not cheap, it regularly impresses us with its formulation.
For this list, we’ve selected the NARS All Day Luminous Weightless foundation because it’s great for oily skin and comes in 20 shades. Flexible polymers are said to move with your skin, to give you natural coverage for up to 16 hours and NARS’ so-called ‘even-tone technology’ helps reduce redness, dullness and create a more balanced look.

Why we love it: This NARS Overlust Cheek Palette is a must-have makeup bag essential. It has three highlighters along the top, and three blushers along the bottom.
You can mix and match the shades, use the dark blush as part of your contour or even use these colours as eyeshadows making this a versatile palette, despite the high price tag.
