The Gwen Stefani GXVE UK range is now on sale in Sephora – here’s everything you need to know
Gwen Stefani is a beauty icon, even if she never intended to be.
From her time in No Doubt to her more recent solo career, she has become renowned for her style and synonymous with flawless skin, her trademark red lipstick, and black eyeliner wing. So it makes sense then that she’s entering the industry with the launch of a Gwen Stefani makeup line called GXVE BY GWEN STEFANI.
Here is everything we know about the collection including where you can buy GXVE in the UK.
What:? The new Gwen Stefani makeup line is called GXVE UK – or to give it its full name, GXVE BY GWEN STEFANI – and is pronounced: “give”. It is said to come from the fact that Gwen signs her name with a G followed by an X for a kiss.
Why:? In an interview with ELLE magazine, Gwen explained that she’s always been obsessed with makeup, having worked as a makeup artist before her time in the band. She also said that she does all of her own makeup before public appearances and has been asked “for 35 years” what lipstick shade she’s wearing.
When:? The first products in the new Gwen Stefani makeup line launched on 3 March 2022 in the US and it finally came to the UK on 8 March 2023.

At launch, the Gwen Stefani GXVE makeup line will sell a limited line of lipsticks, a primer, and products for the eyes and brows. Prices start at $21 and go up to $48.
The singer recently released a mascara called Can’t Stop Starting but, at the time of writing, it’s only currently available in the US.
No Gwen Stefani makeup line would be complete without lipstick and the collection is all said to be made from her “Original Recipe”. We don’t know what that means but in the same ELLE interview, Gwen hinted at the fact that it’s the formulation she’s been wearing throughout her career. There is a matte lipstick, a satin version, and a matte liquid option. The shade names and prices are as follows.
Both products in this line will come in seven shades.
Given her age – Gwen Stefani is now 52, even though she still looks like she’s in her 20s! – we’d hope the line will continue to cater to mature skin as it expands. In the same way that Jennifer Lopez made sure her skincare line, JLO Beauty, is suitable for all ages.
