GHD Colour Crush: GHD launches limited edition red, blue, orange and lime green stylers

The GHD Colour Crush collection features straighteners and hair dryers in vibrant, summer colours

GHD has launched its latest limited edition collection of stylers and dryers to mark the start of spring and as we head into the summer months.

Called GHD Colour Crush, the new colours are the brightest and most vibrant designs we’ve ever seen from the brand.

It launches limited edition stylers once or twice a year, but they’re usually quite muted or pastel–ly, and tend to be more subtle and shimmery. This new range is full of bright, matte hues from Radiant Red to Cyber Lime green.

All of the new stylers are £10 more expensive than their respective standard models but this is because they each come with a heat resistant case, or in the case of the GHD Helios, a storage bag.

GHD Chronos Cyber Lime Green Colour CrushGHD

The GHD Chronos is the latest pair of GHD straighteners to join the wider range, having launched in the US in January and the UK at the start of February.

It introduces the new HD motion-responsive technology which has been designed to make sure the styler adjusts its temperature in real-time to maintain 185˚C across the plates. This makes styling more efficient and faster. Elsewhere it claims to create 3x less breakage, add more shine and cut frizz in half compared to older models.

As part of the new Colour Crush range, the GHD Chronos is being sold in a Cyber Lime colour, with blue metallic accents.

The GHD Duet Style is a wet-to-dry styler that uses hot air to dry your hair, and ceramic plates to smooth and finish the style. It’s been designed to minimise hair damage and boost shine and the brand claims the style will last 48 hours. It’s a rival to the Dyson Airstrait and, with the launch of the Colour Crush collection, it’s now available in black, white and Elemental Blue.

The GHD Gold is one of the cheapest GHD straighteners, other than the GHD Original, and it uses the same dual-zone tech found on the GHD Max. It’s a cross between the Original and the Platinum Plus and almost always features in the GHD limited edition ranges.

In the Colour Crush collection, you can buy the GHD Gold in an Apricot Crush colour, which has blue accents.

GHD Helios Colour CrushGHD

The GHD Helios is already available in a wide range of colours – from black to white, plum, blue, and more – and as part of the GHD Colour Crush range you can now buy it in Cyber Lime green with cornflower blue accents.

We’re big fans of the GHD Helios because it’s super lightweight and dries hair quickly thanks to its 2200W motor and concentrated airflow for fast styling. This hair dryer is designed for a range of hair types, offering smoother and shinier results with reduced frizz.
