At mamabella we believe makeup should empower people but with the sheer range of choices and brands, we know it can get a little overwhelming! With this in mind, we’ve handpicked the best makeup sets, gifts and kits that not only make it easy to match and pair products together, they’re usually a cheaper (10%-20%) way of buying multiple makeup products in one go.
These makeup sets can also introduce you to products you may not have even considered buying, which is why makeup brands bundle their best sellers in a package, to encourage you to branch out and find your next go-to, can’t live without product!
Similarly, we recently made a list of the best beauty advent calendars that are still on sale from 2019, if that’s something you’re interested in, as that’s another way to get hold of multiple makeup on the relative cheap.
Below we’ve divided these best makeup sets into product type, meaning there are sets for your eyes, complexion, lips and cheeks along with a bonus universal makeup set as a treat at the end!
Why we love it: If you’ve not heard of Tarte Cosmetics, it’s a US-based brand that specialises in pure, paraben-free makeup lines and it has a real cult following. We’re huge fans of the brand’s eyeshadow palettes – the Rainforest of the Sea palette is one of our daily go-tos – and despite being US-based, it has a UK website and is sold on sites like Amazon.
This eye makeup set features Tarte’s fantastic Deluxe Sex Kitten eyeliner, alongside a travel-size version of its Lights, Camera, Lashes mascara and the Tartelette Flirt eyeshadow palette. This palette suits a huge range of skin tones and is verstile enough to help you go from day to night.

£19 | Buy now from Feelunique
Why we love it: This is a simple, but highly effective and versatile eye makeup set perfectly placed for Spring, and designed to suit a range of skin tones. It includes the Cherry My Cheri eyeshadow palette and L’Oreal Paris’ Paradise Mascara.
As the name suggests, the Cherry My Cheri palette contains 16 cherry-hued shades from burgundies, to peaches and neutrals making it perfect for going from day to night for most eye colours. You can read more in our What eyeshadow goes with your eye colour? guide. The Paradise mascara then uses a soft brush to coat your lashes and condition them, with castor oil. This prevents flaking while looking after your lashes.
Why we love it: Charlotte Tilbury’s entire range has an air of luxury to it – which goes some way towards justifying its high prices! As you can read in our pick of the best bundles in the Charlotte Tilbury sale, the brand recently launched a dedicated page on its website to promote its discounted makeup sets and they change on a weekly basis.
This makeup set, named after the artist’s nieces Bella and Sofia, is inspired by summers on the Mediterranean and comes with the Bella Sofia Luxury Palette alongside two of Charlotte’s best-selling products, Full Fat Lashes and The Feline Flick. The colours in the pallet are highly pigmented and long lasting, using just three colours in this pallet can give you a natural day look and when you pop the fourth colour on the centre of your eyelid, it transforms into a night look. Add your Feline Flick and your look will switch to super sultry, or add an extra coating of The Full Fat Lashes for an eye opening look.
This shade looks great on our skin tone, but you can get the mascara and eyeliner with a range of Charlotte Tilbury’s Luxury Palettes in a host of other colours. Find all the options on the Eye Makeup Kits page.

£29 | Buy from Glossier
Why we love it: Glossier believes skincare comes first and makeup second. Yet there is nothing second place about this foundation and concealer makeup set. The skin tint foundation is a mix between a BB cream and a serum foundation. It’s super breathable and gives you a dewy finish.
Meanwhile, the Stretch Concealer doesn’t just sit on top of your skin it moves with your skin. Most concealers either set dry, stiff or flat yet this has elastic micro waxes that move with your face instead of caking on top. It’s super buildable in case you want that extra coverage and it was our Editor’s Pick in our best concealer list.

Why we love it: Another great set from Charlotte Tilbury, this face kit will give your skin a flawless, poreless look without feeling cakey. One of the reasons why Charlotte’s range is so popular is that her makeup is infused with skincare, and she also makes great standalone skincare.
This makeup set gets you a 15ml pot of Charlotte Tilbury’s Magic Cream (read more about why this is so good in our best moisturiser list) to give you a smooth and hydrated base; her Airbrush Flawless Foundation, which gives you a natural matte finish; and the Magic Away Concealer. This concealer alone can give you great coverage for blemishes, uneven skin tone and dark circles. It’s is a complexion dream trio.

£18.48 | Buy from QVC
Why we love it: We’re obsessed with The Ordinary. It makes fantastic skincare, hair care and makeup while being highly affordable. We’re talking under a fiver! There’s no catch either. We haven’t found a dud product in the entire range yet and believe us, we’ve looked!
Its Serum foundation had more than 25,000 people on a waiting list when its first launched and in this face makeup set, not only do you get The Ordinary’s Coverage, and Serum foundations. but you also get the bonus of skincare – its iconic hyaluronic acid serum and the award-winning silicon primer.
The Serum foundation gives you a light to medium coverage, leaving your skin looking natural, while the Coverage foundation gives great buildable coverage, leaving your skin with a dewy finish that doesn’t look cakey. This is a bargain that can not be missed!
£48.50 | Buy from MAC
Why we love it: What we love about this lip makeup set is that you can have the best of both worlds – matte or glossy lips. MAC has three of these lip kits – Spiced (pictured above), Marrakesh and Lady Danger and all are equally versatile.
Each set contains MAC’s Lipglass, which gives you a wash of colour and gloss; MAC’s creamy lip pencil; and the brand’s iconic bullet, matte lipstick. Unlike some matte lipsticks, MAC’s version doesn’t dry out your lips and they have great staying power. If you want to create a super smooth base, we also highly recommend the Prep and Prime.
We like to apply the matte lipstick before finishing the look with a coating of Liplass, to add more volume and colour.
£40 | Buy from Selfridges
Why we love it: This Bobbi Brown makeup set comes in four luscious colours that suit everyone and don’t be fooled because it’s a liquid lipstick. Each shade delivers great pigment with nourishment and moisture in one!
This set works out at a tenner each lip colour, which isn’t cheap, but a little goes a long way. If you want a hint of colour, just dab a few dots on the top and bottom of your lips and you can use your fingers to blend the colour around your lips. If you want full, intense colour on your lips use the applicator and go hard!

The colours glide on effortlessly to give you a natural radiant look. The highlighters are also buildable, if you want to have more of an intense glow. All six colours will suit most skin tones and these soft focused blushers are a must-have in our book.
