1st January 2024 | Author: Victoria Woollaston-Webber

French skincare brands have long been lauded as some of the best in the world. Here are our favourites, along with the best French skincare products that we’ve tried and tested

For more than a century, French skincare and French skincare brands have been seen as some of the best in the world.

This is largely thanks to their ‘less is more’ approach which sees the best French brands using fewer, higher quality ingredients. It’s also due to their emphasis on simple, gentle, and often natural formulations, suitable for all skin types and created in French laboratories that are known for world-leading research and development.

This means that for decades French skincare brands have led the way in terms of ingredients, formulas, and products that combine the best of nature with the latest scientific advancements, many of which align with the global trend towards cleaner, more sustainable beauty practices.

However, there are an increasing number of French skincare brands to choose from nowadays, and not all are created equal.

To help you navigate, and to showcase why we’re so enamoured of this part of the world, we’ve picked our favourite French skincare brands along with the best products from their respective ranges.
