Would we switch to Beauty Pie for all our skincare products? It’s a tough one, we’ve had a great experience with using the products; we can’t fault the delivery of the products or even the quality of the products.
It really comes down to how much you’d spend on skincare within a year. The products are great and you do skip the middleman when it comes to pricing, but to truly benefit from Beauty Pie, you need to be spending (and spending regularly) to reap the rewards.
We were fortunate enough to try Beauty Pie on a free membership and purchased what we needed at the time. If you like high-quality products at a heavily reduced price and you’re the type to not go shopping on the high street then Beauty Pie has your name on it.
If you’re not likely to buy consistently from Beauty Pie throughout the year, you might find yourself out of pocket.

Our original Beauty Pie reviews guide continues below
Beauty Pie is an online beauty store offering skincare, makeup, haircare, body care, fragrances and (most recently) supplements at heavily reduced prices. Beauty Pie reviews, in particular, rave about the range of products and the ease of use and the site is able to knock up to 75% off the cost of its products by cutting out the middlemen and getting products directly from the supplier.
This means there isn’t any fancy marketing or packaging costs that traditionally add to the sale price of beauty goods meaning you’re really getting these items fresh off the production line. Of course, this sounds too good to be true so we wanted to put the monthly membership to the test to answer the ultimate question – is Beauty Pie worth it?

To learn more about the specifics of Beauty Pie, you can check out our What is Beauty Pie and how does it work? guide, but in summary – Beauty Pie is a “beauty buyer’s club” that gives members access to products at a discount.
It is possible to buy a small amount of Beauty Pie products without a membership but to get the full benefit, you need to sign up for either a monthly or annual subscription. These cost £15 a month, or £59 a year and come with different spending limits. This can be a little tricky to get your head around, but Beauty Pie shows you how much you’ve saved and what you would have paid, and any unused limit is rolled over to the next month.
Below are our honest Beauty Pie reviews of the service as well as some of the best Beauty Pie products.
We were surprised at how much we saved when we were selecting our products. We ended up purchasing some of the recommended products from a skincare consultation we had ahead of time (scroll down to read more about this).
We got easily lost in the range of products as well as being in awe of what Beauty Pie offers. There is a simple drop-down function on the website that you can filter by skin type or collection. You can also select products based on them being fragrance-free as well as vegan.
We purchased a total of seven items and while the typical price of all seven items worked out at £355, being a Beauty Pie member meant we paid just £81.32. We saved a total of £273.68.

There is always a delivery charge no matter how much you spend, and Beauty Pie offers standard or next-day delivery.
With the latter option, we ordered just after 11 am and the products arrived the next day. We have also ordered more items in the evening and they have been delivered in two days.
The packaging is great, the brand’s famous pink box didn’t disappoint and everything was wrapped nicely in Beauty Pie tissue paper. Plus, all of this packaging can be easily recycled.
In terms of the packaging for the products, it was simple but effective. The use of glass and sleek design made the Beauty Pie products look and feel expensive and this makes the whole range gender-neutral.
Beauty Pie doesn’t offer a try-before-you-buy option but you can opt for expert consultation to discuss your needs and get recommended products ahead of time.
There are four consultation types to choose from:
Each consultation lasts 20 minutes and we opted for the skincare consultation.
To start the consultation, we were greeted by a Beauty Pie representative who asked us what we wanted to achieve with our skin. We said we wanted to have clean, fresh youthful skin, but we wanted to make sure our skincare products were fragrance-free. We also wanted to make sure they understood our skin, at times, can be sensitive.
Our consultant recommended using a retinol night cream – something we’ve avoided previously because of our sensitive skin – and was advised to introduce it slowly by using it once a week until our skin got used to it. We were then given guidance about which other products in the range would be suitable.
After receiving the consultation, we were emailed a list of links to each of the recommended products. This email also gave us step-by-step guidance on which products to use in which order. We were additionally offered £10 off our first purchase with Beauty Pie, which is open to all new customers.
At the time of our consultation, Beauty Pie was offering a one-month free membership. We purchased this free membership before being sent the £10 off voucher which means the code wasn’t valid, due to the fact the membership was still classed as our first purchase.
This is a little sneaky and to get around this, add your membership to your basket at the same time as your products in order to take advantage of this discount.

Although we ordered seven items because we wanted to spend enough time with the items that we would use daily, we opted to test the must-have instead of nice-to-have items.
From our consultation, a lot of our recommended products were from the Super Healthy Skin collection.
We’ve put the Beauty Pie reviews of the products we’ve tested so far below. We will be adding to this list as we test the remaining products because we want to be able to give real-world, honest reviews of each.
Our Beauty Pie product reviews include:

At first, we thought how can a cleanser retail for £40 (non-member price)? However, this is a supersize amount of cleanser that comes in a huge 390ml bottle.
This is quite a new product within the wider Beauty Pie Super Healthy Skin collection and it contains Amino Acid with natural Vitamin C, Pyrus Malus (Apple) and Raspberry extract to provide antioxidant properties.
It did leave our skin feeling clean but not drying. It also left our skin feeling surprisingly fresh. In terms of texture, this cleanser is gel-like with no colour and it’s very foamy! A little really does go a long way.
It does have a small hint of an apple scent, but it’s not overpowering at all. It is really a good cleanser for combination skin types and the £10 bottle will likely last you a pretty long time.

This Beauty Pie eye cream isn’t thick and instead has a runny consistency. It’s white in colour, it’s lightweight and absorbs easily and keeps hydration around the eyes very nicely.
It left our under-eye feeling and looking fresh but we had to be careful when squeezing this out of the tube because a little pressure makes the eye cream come out very quickly!
We love our CeraVe Eye Cream (£12) and it seems they both work the same way, however, we prefer the CeraVe version because it’s thicker and feels more nourishing. It’s also a tad cheaper.

We also wanted to add that this eye cream is part of the wider Triple Hyaluronic Acid range. In our major best serum group test, we recently put the Triple Hyaluronic Acid Face Mist to the test and it performed so well, it took 5th place (out of 50 serums tested).
You can see how it performed in our hydration test via the TikTok video below.
@victoria_woolly_web Never used to rate @beautypie but got more into it recently and found some really good products, including this one. Bit obsessed with any and all misting products at the moment (I have the LRP Cicaplast spray coming soon, I love @thebeautycrop’s Mon Cherie, the Quick Sunscreen from @thequickflick etc) but not always sure of the best way to use them? 🤔 Despite being a mist, I still put it on damp skin. I also took your comments on board about the Cuff It song…😅😅 #mamabella #hydration #dryskin #hyaluronicacid #triplehyaluronic #beautypie #serums #bestserum #bestserums #misting #howdoyoumist #DidYouYawn ♬ GASLIGHT – INJI

We love the packaging on this product but it’s quite a small, 30ml bottle which felt a little steep for the price.
Each drop is highly concentrated with niacinamide but to get the coverage we needed, we had to use 5-6 drops (after cleansing and toning) which means we’re likely to run out of this serum quickly.
The consistency is like water and but absorbs quickly. We’ve also noticed how much of a difference these drops have made to the brightness of our skin.
The nearest like-for-like product we’ve used is The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc. That serum is thicker and takes a bit of time to absorb into the skin. It also doesn’t perform as well, as quickly. It is a lot cheaper though.

This serum is a perfect injection of hydration for the skin.
It’s heavy-duty in that it has a thick consistency and a milky colour to it. This can leave the skin tacky, which is why we opted to use this as part of our evening routine only, but that does subside after about five minutes. It does however keep our skin looking plump and dewy.
Beauty Pie says to use a few pumps but we only need around one pump because it goes on smoothly and spreads well. It has a small scent of crushed flowers but that smell goes quite quickly. It comes in a 50ml bottle and there isn’t a need to use a lot of this product.

It really comes down to how much you’d spend on skincare within a year. We compared the prices of our normal products versus the like-for-like products we bought via Beauty Pie and the former worked out cheaper.
For our regular cleanser, eye cream, serum/treatment (morning and evening) and moisturiser (morning and evening) we spend, on average, £82.
With Beauty Pie, this came to around £75 but that didn’t factor in the membership fee. If you add that on top, you’re looking at a minimum of £120 – the price of the products plus £15 a month for a minimum of three months, and a maximum of £134 if you buy a £59 annual membership.
The products are of high quality and you do skip the middleman when it comes to pricing, but to truly benefit from Beauty Pie, you need to be spending (and spending regularly) to reap the rewards.
